Tuesday Letter #3
Happy Tuesday!
This was a slow week. It was very heavily focused on work. Unfortunately, I did not get a lot of interesting reading done this week. However, I would still love to share a couple of cool things I have encountered.
Hope you enjoy this week's "Tuesday Letter" :)
📜 This Week's Quote from my Readwise
Stoics would recommend, for example, that I concern myself with whether my wife loves me, even though this is something over which I have some but not complete control. But when I do concern myself with this, my goal should not be the external goal of making her love me; no matter how hard I try, I could fail to achieve this goal and would, as a result, be quite upset. Instead, my goal should be internal: to behave, to the best of my ability, in a lovable manner. Similarly, my goal with respect to my boss should be to do my job to the best of my ability.
It is crucial to focus on goals that are under control. That way, we can be sure we've done what we could when reviewing the result.

🎮 Games
This week I was trying to find more ways to spend time carelessly, playing games. I have been focusing on building things, learning new languages, earning more money. Even though I enjoy doing some of those things, they are not truly relaxing. So, I decided to do some gaming. These are the games I tried:
- XCOM 2
- Red Dead Redemption 2
- Hitman
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
- South Park: The Stick of Truth
- Jurassic Park: Evolution
The last two I enjoyed very much and will probably continue to play. I strongly recommend for light and fun time.
